The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show and it's exhibitors have really stepped up to this new world of connecting and engaging. We recently were involved with a discussion about how the manufacturers will be able to show us the latest and greatest products they've been developing. It promises to be a truly immersive event using state-of-the-art technologies to allow us to engage as we normally would in person. We will be able to access experts live to ask all of our questions and some of the brands will be using Matterport technology to enhance the experience. In this post we are going to share what we are most excited to learn and discover during the show next week! If there is anything you'd like us to keep an "eye out" for, please don't hesitate to reach out or throw it in the comment section below!
Handleless kitchen cabinets are one of the biggest trends for 2021 for more pared-back, streamlined look. It's all about simplicity and a focus on cabinetry details.
This idea has been around for a very long time but it is starting to take on more interest by the North American design community and homeowners alike as people try to incorporate less clutter in the look of their home. Thinking of Kitchen design in terms of Wellness is extremely important and reducing visual clutter is a big aspect to consider. In this post we will talk about the top 3 ways that you can incorporate this look into your new kitchen. We will also go over some of the advantages and disadvantages to consider before choosing this design aesthetic for your home.
Hello! We are so glad this post caught your attention. If you've been following us for awhile you know we've been big fans of the induction cooktop. They have so many positive advantages over radiant/indirect heat (gas or electric) cooking. However, there are also some negatives that also need to be addressed before you purchase your appliance. Below we're going to highlight some of the top pros and cons and then at the bottom we've tagged some great articles that will help you dive into this even deeper if you choose to do so!
As with any choice you make in life, you are the only person that can make the best choice for yourself. This post and the articles included are intended to give you aspects to think about and then it's up to you to determine for yourself what is the best choice for you and your family. What's important to me might not be important to you and vice versa. We would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below or you can privately contact us here.
Are you looking to have your Kitchen completely renovated in time for your holiday parties this December? If so, it's already time to start planning! Yes, we know, it's entirely possible that our "parties" may look different this year, but even if we don't have our houses filled, it would be a treat to have them finished, wouldn't it? Below we discuss the timeline of major steps that need to be completed.
If you're not much of a reader, the cliff notes/coles notes version of this post is this:
If you want your Kitchen complete by December 21st, you need to order your cabinets by Sept. 11th, which means you want to start the design process no later than August 21st.
When we first started selling these gorgeous aluminum cabinets, we thought they would be perfect to expand our Kitchen Designs outdoors. We also thought this new product would open up our clientele to commercial projects like restaurants and offices. Although this is all true, the biggest interest has come from residential clients looking for cabinetry for their indoor kitchens.
Many of our clients are starting to welcome the sleek look of a painted cabinet and love the straight lines of a flat door. For these clients the aluminum cabinets are perfect because you get the design aesthetic you are looking for but with the ultra durability of a textured powder coat on the 1" thick aluminum door.
